This year's City of Dallas Tree drive is coming up! We would like to invite you to register for a free tree at http://dallas.gov/branchoutdallas between 9/5/23-9/30/23. Tree Pickup will be November 4th, 2023.
We are trying to coordinate a neighborhood effort to increase our tree canopies and shade our sidewalks.
I am willing to pick up multiple Trees for neighbors if you choose the location : WhiteRock Church of Christ and provide me with a copy of a water bill to use to claim the tree.
We are coordinating with local yard maintenance companies to coordinate the planting of the trees for you. More to come on that.

Information From the City
The City of Dallas is proud to announce its fifth annual Branch Out Dallas program to provide residents with a FREE 5-gallon tree. Trees benefit the urban environment by reducing stormwater runoff to drainage systems, cooling temperatures, improving air quality and mitigating the heat island effect. Residents can register at dallas.gov/branchoutdallas from Sept. 5 to Sept. 30, while supplies last. Residents will be able to choose from five types of Texas trees and six pick-up locations throughout Dallas. Residents who register for a free tree may collect it on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. to noon.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS:
Must live within the Dallas city limits Must present a City of Dallas water bill or government-issued ID to verify residency
Only one (1) tree per residence
Tree delivery is not available; trees must be picked up during event hours
