The third annual Vickery Place Food & Wine Walk in support of the VPNA will take place on Saturday June 8th at 7pm, and will feature three stops at beautiful porches and front lawns on a walkable route through our neighborhood. This year we will have delicious selections of food provided by local restaurants, and perfectly paired with fine wines and Champagne. Tickets for the event may be purchased online for $40 each up to 24 hours before the event, and for $50 on the day of the event, which includes a 10oz laser-etched keepsake wine glass. There is also a VIP after-party featuring even more catered food, wine and music, for an additional $10 per person. We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with the event, who will also be awarded free access to the VIP event. In order to keep the crowd size more intimate and manageable, we have to limit ticket sales to no more than 85 people. Last year we sold out online days before the event, so reserve your spot as soon as you can to avoid disappointment! Please note that tickets may only be sold to those 21 and over. Tickets are not refundable, but due to the demand, there is usually no problem in selling a ticket to someone else (via our facebook page for example) if you discover that you can't make the date for some reason.

DONATE TO THE VICKERY PLACE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION SIGN TOPPER FUND

After the cost of fabrication, tax, and paying city employees to install them, each of the approximately 85 sign toppers that the Vickery Place Neighborhood Association hopes to install in Vickery Place in 2013 will cost approximately $120.  Although VPNA has raised a large amount of funds to cover these costs for many of the toppers, the organization has not reached the amount that it needs.  Therefore, VPNA is offering the chance for neighbors to 'sponsor a corner'.  If you are interested in contributing to  the fund for the sign toppers, please consider donating $120 or more to the Vickery Place Neighborhood Association through the donation button below.  Additionally, if you donate $240 or more, we will send you your very own sign topper for your personal display.  Of course, you may opt not to receive the topper and donate the additional dollars, but the option is available to you.

VICKERY PLACE CONSERVATION DISTRICT PLAQUES

These beautiful solid bronze plaques are available for mounting directly on homes located within the Vickery Place Conservation District.  They are designed to be attached to the siding of homes, so please specify wood or masonry mount when ordering.  Note that we sell these at our cost, so as to encourage more widespread display.






VICKERY PLACE SUPPORTING LEE ELEMENTARY'S KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP

In order help with public awareness concerning our local elementary school, Robert E. Lee, VPNA has agreed to match up to half of the cost of reusable neighborhood yards signs providing information for the Kindergarten Roundup. To cover the difference we're asking for your support. Please help support Lee by sponsoring a sign at $12.00.
