2012 Vickery Place Wine Walk

We're set to repeat the experience in 2012 with our second annual Wine Walk, this time concentrating on a smaller section in the middle of Vickery Place, centered around the 5400 blocks of Miller Avenue and Vickery Boulevard, which means a shorter distance between houses, and more time spent talking with your neighbors and enjoying delicious food and wine pairings.

As we did last year, we have carefully selected food and wine pairings, this time catered by Vickery Place resident Debbie Simurda and her business partner Pam Barron in her new catering business, Fresh Catering DFW. Each house will feature different wine varieties. The boutique sparkling and white wine pairings are provided courtesy of Dani Boxford, Ambiente Wine Imports.

The first house on Miller Ave will feature Champagne and sparkling wines. This is also the location of the will-call ticket pickup and the sales of tickets on the day of the event.

The second house, also on Miller, will feature white wines.

The third house, on the corner of Vickery and Glencoe, will feature red wines.

The fourth house, on Vickery, will feature dessert wines, sherries and ports
