Annual Meeting/Pot Luck/Artisan Faire

The VPNA annual meeting is held each year in November to elect the upcoming year's board of directors. For the past few years this has also become a pot luck holiday feast and neighborhood artisan faire--a jump start for the holiday season!

The nominating committee will present a slate of candidates for the 4 officers and 5 members at large that will make up the 2012 VPNA board of directors. Nominations will also be taken from the floor. You must live in Vickery Place neighborhood and bring proof of residency in order to vote. (Please show as you check in).

If you've been thinking of becoming active in the neighborhood association or would like to volunteer for a committee, this is the time and place to meet your neighbors, the newly elected board and to find your niche.

Showing their culinary craft, the VPNA board and committee members will provide the Pot Luck dinner. If you have a special dish that you would like to contribute, please bring it. Beer, wine and beverages will also be available.   In the spirit of giving, please bring 2-3 non-perishable food items which will be donated to those less fortunate.

Artwork for sale include feathered jewelry by Ashlee Starrett, Mexican hand-embroidered pillows from Candy Hearne, doggie toys by Carrie Atkinson, beaded jewelry and found object art by Charlotte Lindsey, jewelry & accessories by Maria Gonzalez, and more. Vickery Place merchandise will also be for sale: Commemorative plaques, Centennial Home Tour candles & note cards, wine glasses, beer tumblers & T-shirts (with proceeds going directly back into the neighborhood). You may find that 'just right' holiday gift for family or friends. If you're a neighborhood artist and would like to sell your creations at this meeting, please let us know, email info@vpna.org. See you there!
