Date: Monday, November 14, 2011
Time: 5:30 pm to 8:00pm - open house format
Where: Nasher Sculpture Center - 2001 Flora Street, Dallas, TX

The City of Dallas launched its Complete Streets Initiative Project earlier this year and they are now beginning to engage the community to get their input. The City has identified 14 Pilot Projects Citywide to complete conceptual designs for early implementation, one of which is the Knox, Henderson and Ross Avenues segment.

There will be an Open House/Workshop for the Knox-Henderson and Ross Avenues complete street segment event at the Nasher Sculpture Center on Monday, November 14th from 5:30 to 9pm. At this public input session we will be listening to and exploring ideas for Pearl (Woodall to Ross), Ross Ave (Pearl to Henderson) and the Knox Henderson corridors. This is your opportunity to be an active part of this exciting planning process.

The Complete Streets project seeks involvement of all Dallas citizens to:
  1. Create a future Complete Streets Vision for the Dallas community
  2. Develop a comprehensive Complete Streets design manual with clear directions on how to create more livable and welcoming streets,
  3. Demonstrate and test how these changes would work in real-life examples - on streets we all know and use
