Recipes Needed for Community Cookbook

In celebration of the Vickery Place Centennial, we will be putting together a community cookbook with the help of Morris Press.  So if you live in Vickery Place or have lived in Vickery Place in the past, please share a few of your favorite recipes!  We're especially looking for recipes that have fond memories and stories of Vickery Place associated with them.  Any photos of your dish or memories would also be welcome!

Just email your recipes and memories to recipes@vickeryplace.com

The cookbook will have the following categories: appetizers and beverages, soups and salads, vegetables and side dishes, main dishes, breads and rolls, desserts, cookies and candy, and local chefs.

Local chefs, publicize your restaurant to the locals! We plan to include a section highlighting the local restaurants by printing a recipe from each restaurant in the neighborhood.

If you have something special or interesting about the origin of your recipe, please include it as well! We'd also love to know why the recipe is meaningful to you.

This is an exciting project that will be a lovely keepsake and gift, and profits will be used to fund neighborhood projects.
